Hi, I am Sarah Flaherty, the Pixel Liberator.
I am a creative director + graphic designer with a focus on strategy and execution. I have a Master of Fine Arts degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design and over 25 years of experience in graphic design. My experience includes working in advertising agencies, in-house positions, and as a freelance designer. I have worked with clients in various industries such as technology, entertainment, sports, medical, first responders, education, and nonprofits. In addition to my professional roles, I have also taught at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and Nazareth University.
In 2023, I established Pixel Roc, a strategic branding and marketing studio in the Finger Lakes region, where I focus on integrating creativity, innovation, and strategic thinking to provide solutions for clients. Building strong client relationships and solving complex problems with creative strategies are key to my success, leading to effective, simple solutions.
I collaborate with small business owners, senior leadership executives and marketing teams on various projects, offering a fresh and unique perspective, aiming to enhance brands, products, and services in genuine and meaningful ways.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son playing outside, attending music and sporting events. I am passionate about creating art using various mediums such as origami, watercolor, and glass blowing.
